Western Nzema chief demands urgent action on Samenyi–New Town road

The President of the Western Nzema Traditional Council, Awulae Kwasi Armachi III, has called for urgent attention to the poor state of roads in the Jomoro Municipality.\n\nHe singled out the approximately 25-kilometre route from Samenyi to New Town, which connects communities through Jaway Wharf Junction and towards Half Assini. Residents and motorists have repeatedly complained about the condition of the road.\n\nThe chief raised the issue during an educational support event at which more than 1,000 pupils received scholarships and materials.\n\nJomoro MP and Deputy Transport Minister Dorcas Affo-Toffey said a contractor was mobilising for work on the route.\n\nSource: GhanaWeb/3News.
