'Do you know banku?' - Mohammed Kudus reveals his pre-game meal

Tottenham Hotspur and Ghana star Mohammed Kudus has revealed that banku is one of his favourite meals ahead of a football match. The 26-year-old was asked by a young Spurs fan what his preferred pre-game meal is, prompting a typically Ghanaian response from the midfielder. “Do you know banku?” Kudus asked the youngster before identifying the traditional Ghanaian dish as his choice. Banku, made from fermented corn and cassava dough, is one of Ghana’s most popular local dishes and is commonly served with soup, stew or grilled fish.
