Ghana deputy captain Thomas Partey is facing a race against time to be fit for the Black Stars’ upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers after suffering a minor physical setback at Al-Shabab. The 33-year-old midfielder has been ruled out of Al-Shabab’s next two Saudi Pro League matches against Al-Kholood and Al-Fayha and will undergo a specialised recovery programme under the club’s fitness staff.
