Interior Minister, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak paid a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty, Yaa Na Mahama Abukari II

The Minister for Interior and National Security, on Wednesday 21st May, 2025, paid a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty, Ya-Na Mahama Abukari II, the Overlord of Dagbon, at the Gbewa Palace in Yendi. During their engagement, the Overlord, Ya-Na, reaffirmed his unwavering support for Government’s efforts towards maintaining peace and security in the Northern Region and across the country. He also emphasized the importance of resolving misunderstandings through legal and appropriate channels and called on all stakeholders to promote unity and harmony. Yaa Na also assured the minister for Interior and National Security, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak, of his commitment to collaboration and encouraged his ministry to continue engaging with relevant stakeholders to foster lasting peace and security.
