He has successfully completed his online registration and formally submitted his Declaration of Intent to contest for the party’s parliamentary candidacy in the constituency. In a post shared on Facebook and sighted by GhanaWeb on November 5, 2026, Boafo said his decision was driven by his commitment to the people of Tarkwa Nsuaem and his belief that the constituency deserves purposeful, accessible and visionary leadership. He said his ambition was anchored in the principles of unity, selfless service and the determination to build a stronger NPP and constituency where every party member feels valued and included.
