Cabinet accepts key Constitutional Review Committee proposals, including elected MMDCEs and a 60-minister cap.
The government has accepted the recommendation of the Constitutional Review Committee to extend the presidential term from four to five years, alongside proposals to increase the membership of Parliament from 276 to 300 seats, elect Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives, and cap the number of ministers at 60.
