Black Princesses still owed three qualifying bonuses from 2016- Didi Dramani
Didi Dramani is a former coach of the Black Princesses
Former Black Princesses coach Didi Dramani has disclosed that Ghana’s women’s Under-20 players are yet to receive three qualifying bonuses from their campaign to reach the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Nearly a decade after the Black Princesses secured qualification for the 2016 World Cup, the three outstanding bonuses remain unpaid, according to the former coach, with some players still waiting for a resolution.
Dramani, who led the team to the tournament in Papua New Guinea, says the players were entitled to four winning bonuses during the qualifying campaign but have been paid only one.
Speaking on Asempa FM, the former Hearts of Oak coach revealed that some of the players still reach out to him over the unpaid money, hoping he can intervene on their behalf.

He said the situation has persisted for years, leaving former members of the squad seeking assistance to recover what they are owed.
“As I speak with you now, since 2016 when I sent the Black Princesses to the World Cup, they have only paid one of four qualifying winning bonuses. I still receive their calls about their unpaid bonuses because they feel that I should be someone who can push for it,” he said.
The coach questioned why the matter had remained unresolved for so long, insisting that the authorities could at least engage the affected players and provide an update on their outstanding payments.
“Why is it like that? Because it is not supposed to be so. They could have at least had time to speak with them and let them know they are aware of the situation,” he added.
